Course Aims and Summary 208SLL
This second year module introduces students to further domain knowledge required for professional multi-media production.
This half module introduces the legal framework of intellectual property and copyright which multi-media designers and publishers need to consider when authoring or re-versioning material for publication to the internet and mobile platforms.
The course builds on the experience of Webscripting 121SLL. and links to Multimedia Applications for Mobile Platforms 209SLL. This professional development component prepares students to make informed judgements about material for publication
Students will carry out independent research, maintain an online journal (blog), and produce a written assignment.
The course develops student’s research and writing skills. It aims to help students become confident in presenting a case in writing.
